In this post we answer two frequent questions:
- “Can I change the e-mail for my account?”
- “Where can I edit my profile details?”
Below are short answers and step-by-step instructions for the mobile app and the web version. At the end you’ll find a link to a video tutorial.
1) How do I edit my profile details?
You can edit: name, phone number, country of residence, and date of birth.
You cannot edit the e-mail field (see section 2).
In the mobile app
- Open the Profile tab in the bottom menu.
- Tap your profile name at the top (your name and phone number).
- On the Personal information screen, edit the fields you need:
- First and last name
- Phone number
- Country of residence
- Date of birth
- E-mail — not editable
- Tap Save changes.
In the web version
- Go to Settings.
- Click your profile name or the pencil icon next to it.
- Edit the available fields and save.
- The e-mail field is read-only.

2) Can I change the e-mail for my account?
Short answer: no.
Your e-mail address is your login. For security reasons it cannot be changed in the app or the web version.
If you need to use a different e-mail:
- Register a new account with the desired address.
- Re-add your recipients and payment methods in the new account.
- If you have any pending transfers, wait for them to complete in the old account.
