How to edit your profile in the SendNOW app — and can you change the account e-mail?

In this post we answer two frequent questions:

  • “Can I change the e-mail for my account?”
  • “Where can I edit my profile details?”

Below are short answers and step-by-step instructions for the mobile app and the web version. At the end you’ll find a link to a video tutorial.

1) How do I edit my profile details?

You can edit: name, phone number, country of residence, and date of birth.
You cannot edit the e-mail field (see section 2).

In the mobile app

  1. Open the Profile tab in the bottom menu.
  2. Tap your profile name at the top (your name and phone number).
  3. On the Personal information screen, edit the fields you need:
    • First and last name
    • Phone number
    • Country of residence
    • Date of birth
    • E-mail — not editable
  4. Tap Save changes.

In the web version

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click your profile name or the pencil icon next to it.
  3. Edit the available fields and save.
    • The e-mail field is read-only.

2) Can I change the e-mail for my account?

Short answer: no.
Your e-mail address is your login. For security reasons it cannot be changed in the app or the web version.

If you need to use a different e-mail:

  • Register a new account with the desired address.
  • Re-add your recipients and payment methods in the new account.
  • If you have any pending transfers, wait for them to complete in the old account.
