In this article, we\u2019re answering a question that is often asked to SendNOW<\/a> support:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t see my country\u2019s currency in the app. Does that mean transfers from this country are not available?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

For example, the SendNOW app doesn\u2019t list the Turkish lira as a payment currency.
Does this mean you can\u2019t send money from Turkey?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The answer is no<\/strong>. This does not mean transfers from the country are unavailable.
It means that transfers from this country need to be paid for in a different currency that is available in the app<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the app, you see the currencies in which you can pay for a transfer<\/strong>, not a list of countries from which transfers are allowed. What matters is not the \u201ccountry\u2019s currency,\u201d but the currency of your card or bank account<\/strong> that you use to pay for the transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s return to the example of Turkey and the Turkish lira:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • You want to send a transfer via SendNOW while being in Turkey but the Turkish lira is not available in the app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • If you have a card or bank account\u2014at a Turkish or another bank\u2014in EUR<\/strong> or USD<\/strong>, you can pay for the transfer by selecting EUR<\/strong> or USD<\/strong> as the payment currency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
